I noticed that we were slightly behind schedule in releasing the new version of mne (only one week), possibly due to the influx of new contributions from Google Summer of Code. I believe this will stop soon.

I understand that some things are on the to-do list for the new version (https://github.com/mne-tools/mne-python/milestone/33) from the 1.11 release, but I think we've had enough merged contributions since November with many nice things!

If we can release, this will make my life easier on the eegdash if we can release here.

As always, I can help with any task you've assigned me for this release.
