9070 XT LG OLED65C9 FRL training failed

Using Certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cable to connect AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT directly into LG OLED65C9.

With the stock 6.19.3-3-cachyos kernel I'm getting 3840x2160 60hz 4:4:4 8bit BT2020 HDR10.

With this patch hdmi_frl_stable 17d577b applied I'm getting no signal. I tried power cycling the tv.

I tried 435360c. Still no signal. However the logs are different. Now it infinitely loops

Today I cherry picked these changes: master...hdmi_frl and applied on top of https://github.com/CachyOS/linux/tree/6.19/base. Had to resolve few conflicts. But in the end it worked for me!
3840x2160@120hz, 10bpc, HDR, VRR, ALLM.
First time I booted, I could see [HW_LINK_TRAINING]:HDMI FRL: training successful in dmesg, but no signal on the tv. I power cycled the tv and pc and the signal appeared on the tv. I'm also using Denon AVR-X2800H in the middle with no issues.

I was able to successfully apply your patch in the kernel manager. Same setup, 9070XT + LGC9. Just reporting that I was unable to get a signal to my TV. It is very odd, CachyOS recognizes the TV and 120hz VRR options are available for it but the TV itself says no signal. The only way I am able to get a signal is if I turn off HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Color on the TV. But then I can only max out at 60hz no VRR. I've rebooted the TV in every way imaginable along with the PC but no luck. I am curious if there is a specific config I should be using in the kernel manager.

Also, today I tried the FRL patch on top of a new cachyos-6.19.9-1. Works great for me. Here is the new patch.
I use CachyOS Kernel Manager. All default settings except:
Custom package name: linux-cachyos-frl
CPU compiler optimizations: Native CPU
Add this local patch file

No dice unfortunately. Used your patch (thanks btw) on top of the same cachyos-6.19.9-1. Used the kernel manager to configure and build and no training success. Unplugged my TV and my PC and clicked the power button a bunch of times, waited 10 seconds, etc... I'm not desperate to get this working, would have been a nice to have.

Edit: For full context, I do have an HDMI 2.1 cable, although I cannot be 100% sure of it's quality. It is a 30ft active fiber hdmi 2.1 cable. It has worked with full functionality for me on Windows, but I have put windows behind me.

In this case I would definitely try a certified ultra high speed passive cable. Also try to have a TV as the only sink, nothing else connected to the GPU.
Maybe I was just lucky for some unknown reason. Will reopen the issue for now.
