DaemonSet status included in kustomize

status is included as part of kustomize

Expected behavior
status is managed by kubernetes control-plane and should not be part of manifest

ArgoCD is constantly reporting OutOfSync

It's easy to fix with kustomize:

patches:
  - patch: |-
      - op: remove
        path: /status
    target:
      kind: DaemonSet
      name: node-server

but it would be cleaner if status is removed from manifest
