Status?

What you have already still seems to work, any plans to continue this effort? Would be interesting to hear why the project seems abandoned so I know how much of my own time and effort should I invest in building upon your work.

Since the API has been in the works for the past couple of years with no signs of progress, this project seems to be the only hope. :-)
