@GavinRay97 I doubt that the number of commits is somehow significant, some may have 5 lines of code and some may have 500 lines. It's just that I've done lots of refactoring and preferred to have many small commits, each dealing with a specific issue when possible.

I'm trying to imagine how/under what circumstances rewriting bits of the .NET runtime by yourself happens. Herculean task.

Just of the JIT compiler really. I'm not touching the runtime bits unless I have to, trying to merge from upstream is already problematic as it is.
