New "check out PR by number" is confusing

I saw that this picker now shows titles for PRs and I can filter by title, not just number

This is cool because it's much more ergonomic than opening the sidebar, clicking multiple times, etc, and it also seems much slower to load than the picker, maybe because there are multiple queries.

But if I try to pick that item, it's invalid

So then what's the point of showing titles?
