Bounding Box Editor Misaligned When UI Window Is Too Small

When the ComfyUI window is not large enough or screen size is to small, the bounding-box editor does not scale correctly to the visible area.

As a result, the selection overlay becomes misaligned with the actual image.
This causes the reported coordinates (x1, y1, x2, y2) to be incorrect because the box is calculated using the wrong visual position.

In The mask editor of Load image the full image is displayed.

Git cloned latest version but version in nodes is 1.0.x

It might be that ComfyUI is still loading an older cached version of the node — this happened before with some users.
I’ll run a full check on my side to make sure the latest version is packaged correctly and that no outdated code is being used.

If you can, please also try with an image larger than 1024×1024 and let me know if the issue persists — this will help me understand whether it’s a scaling bug or just an old version being loaded.

Tested it with a bigger image.
Same result, looks like a scaling bug to me.

It happened to me yesterday, the output image had a vertical shift against the Box selection I did.

Hi @mercu-lore , I have implemented this awesome BoxBox in my team's Workflows, and some colleagues have reported that the Box selection, when saved, moves and is not the same as the selection made in the UI. Is anything known about this issue?

At the moment, the node works correctly on my setup (I’ve tested it on a 27” and a 32” monitor), so the issue doesn’t appear consistently on every screen.

What seems to be happening is that the UI applies different scale factors depending on the display resolution and how the image is rendered. When the image exceeds 1024×1024, it gets scaled down visually, and this can create inconsistencies between the box you draw in the UI and the saved coordinates.

I’m currently evaluating the best way to handle this scaling logic so that the box selection behaves identically across all screen sizes and resolutions.
I’ll try to integrate a more universal solution as soon as possible.
