[Bug]: Line Breaks...

Bug Description

I'm experiencing an issue where line breaks within blockquotes are being removed when using your extension. The same Markdown files display correctly with proper line breaks in other Markdown readers, but in your extension, all the lines merge into a single paragraph. Is there a way to fix this rendering issue?
Otherwise satisfied. Great extension.

Hi @yudouxie! Thank you so much for taking the time to report this and for the detailed screenshots.

After investigating this issue, I believe this might not actually be a bug. This appears to be how MarkView handles line breaks according to the Markdown standard, and it works the same way as GitHub does.

Quick Test
Could you try uploading your markdown file to GitHub and see how it displays there? I believe you'll find that GitHub renders it the same way as MarkView.

If MarkView renders differently than GitHub, then we definitely have a bug! But if they match, MarkView is working as intended.

Hi @yudouxie! I wanted to let you know that MarkView v1.9.5 now includes a Line Breaks setting that addresses this.

In Quick Settings (Ctrl+Shift+K), you can now choose:

• CommonMark (default): Single newlines -> spaces
• GitHub style: Single newlines -> line breaks

The extension should auto-update soon, or manually update from chrome://extensions.
