Unbundling the bundled files

Hi, I'd like to package your Gem for Fedora, but as we have a strict non-bundling policy, it would require rewriting a significant part of the code (basically, removing the copied files and making them dependencies or doing the stuff they do somehow else). Would you accept a pull request that would do this unbundling?
