Low FPS while rendering RichText's (?)

The FPS right now in the main menu is about 110 compared to the normal ~1,000 or so when not. I believe it's something in the console, most likely RichText performance if I had to guess.

Yeah that's probably it lol
I need to remember which command it is, but there's a vgui command to show layout invalidation as a red flash - I just didn't add it yet, would be helpful for diagnosing these

Yeah, vgui_visualizelayout. I was gonna look at implementing it for this issue, but quickly changed my mind and took the debug log approach
