Though it's just a timer app, it's the best timer app.
-
In most timer apps, it takes about 6 keypresses to make a new timer and start it. Here, it takes just 1 or 2.
-
It's designed to be comfortably usable one-handed. Everything interactive sits in the bottom half of the phone.
-
In most apps, alarms will not stop sounding until the user gets their phone out and interacts with the app. This is nothing but an inconvenience, for many users, so we make it optional.
-
The timers are visually compact and color-coded, so you can easily find and reuse the timers you'll need often, instead of recreating them every time.
As far as we're aware, no other timer app has any of these qualities, let alone all of them.
It also has a special feature called "timercules". Timercules are composite timers that other timers can be dragged into. There are a few different kinds. "Sequence" timercules can be used for timing multi-stage cooking processes, or complex exercise routines. "Cycle" timercules can repeat, which can be used to make, for instance, pomodoro timers. Parallel timercules are a bit more obscure, but if you experiment a lot with recipes, you'll find a use for them.
And of course, we do have stopwatches.
It's also just beautiful. There are no superfluous details. Every change animates smoothly, for visual clarity.
It's available on both android and ios, right now. It's free to try.
The source code is available here. If you see any ways the app could be improved, we welcome code contributions with genuine warmth: We will try to bring you into the fold and compensate you in proportion to the contribution.
