Sometimes panel elements can look like they are still being hovered over or opened, but they are not.

Steps to reproduce

It happens if you open another menu with a shortcut (e.g. Start Menu) when you hover any element.

Expected behavior

It should unhover itself whenever another menu opens up.

I would love to try go to the source and fixing this issue by myself (at least I'll try to)! If you know at which chunk of code this issue is located, I would appreciate any help! Right now I've read this guide, and as far as I can see the issue should be related to somewhere in ./js/ui/panel.js here.

(Won't be using any AI for this, although I'm not the best programmer out there, I write videogames in C# (Moved from Unity to Godot like 11 months ago), and I think I might try to help!)
