Bug description
I just did a clean reinstall of Linux Mint 22.3 on my Lenovo. My Bluetooth devices (headset and speakers) had been working perfectly with Mint 21.3 (kernel 5.15.0.173-generic) on the same PC for years (and they still work perfectly on another PC that I haven’t reinstalled).
But since the new installation, the audio has been unstable (random micro-cuts).
Steps to reproduce
- Start Linux Mint
- Switch headset/speakers on
- The Bluetooth connection is established automatically
- Listen to any source of sound (web, VLC, Peertube,..)
- Experiencing random audio dropouts, or even a loss of the Bluetooth connection
Expected behavior
Stable sound with no Bluetooth connection interruptions
Additional information
The output profile for my Bose QuietComfort QC 35 headphones is “High Fidelity Playback (A2DP Sink, SBC-XQ codec)”.
