Validation respecting repo configs

Hey! I did a quick search of the code and it seems that the validator stages changed files in a temp dir, so it does not respect things like .markdownlint.json or other repo configs. Is there something I am missing or is this hard coded?

It would be really nice if we could get the repo configs in the validator, it would make the validations cleaner and have less noise for the LLM to parse and ignore.
