Does this actually build the frontend or just the design? Awesome job either way! Basically what I am asking, is can I add this and use it to work on Odoo frontend? Its mostly a dialect of JS called Owl.js 2.0, but also uses XML based templates and a Python backend. |

I'm getting pretty close to publishing something interesting. I've been working on a system for optimizing the visual design process ever since I started working on Code (in fact I was working on it before I started working on Code)!
User interfaces are a particular passion of mine. It doesn't matter how great your code is, if it's not fun to use, people won't enjoy it. It's why I spent a lot of time early on focusing on the UX for Code. But it's kind of been the "last frontier" for CLIs. They can create good UIs now, but they're not super fun, creative and they often don't look professional. But LLMs can be genuinely creative when pushed the right way.
I've gone through several iterations of creating a tool to help with that. In the latest version I tried to just make it part of Code itself, but it was just too complex with too many tools, models and APIs needed to work properly. So I went back AGAIN and started from scratch building it as a service. And well... this time it works! It's solving all the issues I had building UX with CLIs. It builds logos, interfaces, graphics, websites, even 3D assets all in a way which respects your existing style or brand. Also amazing for greenfield projects at creating a design vision from scratch.
It installs as a skill or MCP for all CLIs (including Code of course). It's automatically used by the CLIs whenever they need to build visual components. You can participate in the design process and select or refine drafts, or just let it run autonomously.
It's still got some rough edges, but I'd love to open it up to a small group to try out over the next week. If you're interested, please drop me an email at james@justevery.com and let me know what you'd use it for!
