I added ETP and would like to merge, but need advice

I added ETP to this great library!
It might not be up to your coding standards. Maybe I hacked it a bit. I tried to be good. Everyone has their own ideas.
I'm new to git so I don't know how to get started having this conversation about how to make the changes acceptable to you.
