Notifications not showing up

I have notifications enabled, but I'm not getting any.

At one point in time, I use to get notifications about my controller (DualSense) being at 15% to 5% battery level so I will know to charge it up. Ever since new updates to the plug-in came along, I'm no longer getting notified about my controller's battery level even with it being at 15% to 5%. So is this a bug that needs to be fixed or am I the only one dealing with this issue?

Also unrelated question, but will it be possible to add in a feature that can automatically turn off controllers when it's idle within any given time frame, since the Steam's controller idle gamepad settings feature is just plain broken.

Commenting for visibility. I'm also experiencing this. Running Bazzite with a Dualsense controller and everything's enabled. I've yet to see a notification pop-up.
Went through the notifications options in settings, and the "Always" option is selected.

Is this plugin getting a new update soon to fix this or this project is abandoned?

Thanks for the report/request. I'm archiving this repository and won't be picking up further development. The plugin may keep working on current Steam Deck firmware, but no new fixes or features will land. If you'd like to keep this going, forks are welcome. Closing this out as part of archive cleanup.
