If a user saves an individual sequence (which is saved as either a .MID 0 or .MID 1 file) and attempts to load that sequence back into VMPC2000XL a crash occurs.

Operating system: MacOS Monterey 12.4.
VMPC2000XL version: VMPC2000XL v0.9.0.23, Built: Tue, 10 Feb 2026 16:45:07, Started: Thu Feb 12 22:32:01 2026
Steps to reproduce:

Launch VMPC2000XL Standalone.

Load an .ALL file and .PGM.

Create a sequence.

In VMPC2000XL go to MAIN SCREEN > SAVE > Scroll to: Save a sequence.

Save the individual Sequence. A pop up window will ask if the user would like to save the format as a .MID file: either as a Type 0 or Type 1.

In VMPC2000XL go to MAIN SCREEN > LOAD > Scroll to: > .SEQ. Find the sequence and load it.

See if by loading the .SEQ a crash occurs.
