@felipeangelimvieira can you share more information on how to reproduce this and exactly what you are seeing? is that from a traceback? or from some GUI? |

Ibis has a registered OAuth application whose Client ID and Client Secret are in the code. ibis/ibis/backends/bigquery/__init__.py Lines 63 to 64 in 9126733 This email address has been provided as an OAuth application administrator or contact address. However, since this application is running locally, the OAuth application still does not have access to your data because only you have access to the access tokens. Now Google and the Ibis projects can track how many people use the Ibis and others. Here is more details about OAuth in Google: https://support.google.com/cloud/answer/15544987#zippy= https://developers.google.com/workspace/guides/configure-oauth-consent |

When using ibis with Bigquery, I received a warning that ibis ibis-project-admins@googlegroups.com was asking for permission to access my data.
Could you kindly explain why this is being required by the package? Thank you very much for the support and for mantaining this awesome package.
