sometimes one of my covers has a status of "not available" in home assistant. I have a Tahoma Switch, local API enabled. If a cover is not available, in the tahoma app it;'s also not available (or not reachable).

In the Tahoma app is a button "bediening overnemen" (or something like that. If I use that, the cover is operational in the app and also almost immediately in home assistant.

Is is possible to implement this? (or maybe you know which api call(s) should I do?)

I'm a programmer but have no idea what to call (unless I isolate the Tahoma switch to a seperate hub and look at the traffic).

The cloud API logs all commands, and you can find these in the Home Assistant diagnostics. You should be able to find the commands the TaHoma app is using in this log.

If you are using Home Assistant, best is to create an issue on https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues. This issue tracker is only used to track underlying package issues.
