Hello, I am getting this message when I try sudo make install.

Any help on how to resolve this would be really appreciated, sorry I am a noob with linux. What name should i be specifying?

I am also getting a similar error when trying to build this on a Samsung Chromebook 1 (ARM), in a Trusty (14.04) chroot (with Xfce).

I guess that several dependencies are needed for the build to succeed.

It would be nice to have some information on the dependencies in the README.MD.

Please let me know what to do and I will try to fix up the MD and send a pull request.

@willardthor I had this issue too initially (trying to compile on kali-rolling installed over crouton on ChromeOS).

A solution for this problem is suggested in this pull request: #12

This got me past the error you're encountering.

It looks like a message from pkg-config without arguments:
$ pkg-config --cflags
Must specify package names on the command line
Probably some variable for library names in your Makefile is empty (it could be either error or not).
