Describe the Bug

So, my Controller get swapped like L1 is L2, and R1 is R2. My Controller model name is "M-TECH", i have no issues when play games like GTA and Sonic Generations.. Can the developer add Customizable Input buttons ?.

question: is it possible for you to provide the full controller model name? I did my quick research, and I'm starting to believe it's a "M-tech MT-8400"?

If so, likely chance that SDL2's GameController API tried to figure out your Controller's USB Mappingg and got the mapping wrong. I suggest downloading SDL2 Gamepad Tools and try spilling the mappings. Third-party controllers are a nightmare to solve.

Alternatively: wait until #1086 gets merged (or 1.0.3 release) , as it'll allow for improved Steam Input support alongside an enhanced debug console that will provide the full name of the controller (easier to troubleshoot).

the PR that'll contain proper support for Steam Virtual Gamepad and Controller Naming detection has been merged. try downloading via GitHub action (or 1.0.3 release when it comes out) and see if that solves the problem for you. I strongly suggest downloading the "RelWithDebInfo" one or alternatives where you can open the debug console, see pic below:

make sure you press any buttons so that the console can spit out the controller info.
