If you don't trust my build, you can build it yourself, source code is in repository. No additional libraries required.
Unlicenced or sometimes offline Adobe apps are strive to interrupt your work with annoying popup messages. This counts following messages:
- Unlicenced copy warning
- Unskipable warning when Photoshop cannot access internet
- Forced licence accept window. You have no option to decline the licence and continue working.
It supports: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects
This tool is created to fuck Adobe to give you more freedom and allow to use Photoshop/Premiere Pro or AfterEffects without stupid restrictions (like offline mode) or accepting licence terms when it forces you to do that. This program is realtime monitoring software to detect annouying popup windows in Photoshop. When such windows appers it instantly closes this window, unlocks Photoshop main window and makes it focused, so you can keep working without being interrupted.
This is not neccessary, but if you don't need cloud features and want to force the Photoshop to work in offline mode I recommend you to block Adobe hosts by adding them into your Windows hosts file.
You should do it manually, psunlock does not mess with your system files.
List of Adobe hosts can be found here: https://github.com/Ruddernation-Designs/Adobe-URL-Block-List/blob/master/hosts
This will force Adobe apps to run in offline mode.
- Put psunlock.exe into your Photoshop/Premiere or AE folder
- Create a desktop shortcut for psunlock.exe
- Instead of launching adobe app you should launch the shortcut of PSUnlock. PSUnlock automatically runs Photoshop/Premiere/AE. So you can use it as a launcher. And it runs only one instance of unlock process even if you running multiple apps. It is programmed to simultaneously monitor PS/Premiere/AE for annoying popups.
- Run psunlock.exe from any folder.
- Run Adobe app (Different apps at once supported). (You can launch psunlock.exe after any Adobe app that is supported by this unlocker)
- When PSUnlock starts, it runs as a background process.
- While running, you'll see its icon in the system tray.
- It instantly detects a running instance of Photoshop/Premiere/AE and begins monitoring for blocking popup windows.
- If non of Adobe apps are running, it will wait until you launch it.
- Double-clicking the tray icon will always bring the Adobe app windows to the foreground (a quality-of-life feature).
- Right-clicking the icon opens a context menu, where you be able to stop and exit PS Unlock (If you really want to for some reason).
- All blocking popup warnings are closed instantly. The Photoshop window becomes responsive, allowing you to continue your work without interruption.
- PSUnlock stops working right after you quit all Adobe apps.
