Proposal for Community Partner for FOSS Hack 2026

I am Tanmay Maheshwari, writing on behalf of The FOSS Club at Delhi Technical Campus.

We’re reaching out to explore a potential Community Partnership with your organization for FOSS Hack 2026.

FOSS Hack 2026 is the sixth edition of FOSS Hack - a month-long hybrid hackathon focused on promoting Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). It brings together students and professionals to build new projects or contribute to existing FOSS initiatives across multiple domains such as Open Hardware, GNU/Linux, Cybersecurity, etc.

This edition is being locally hosted exclusively by The FOSS Club, Delhi Technical Campus, making us the only official local host for the entire Delhi/NCR region, with the goal of actively engaging and unifying developer communities across the region.

As a community partner, we believe this collaboration can be mutually beneficial through:

• Cross-promotion across our respective platforms
• Wider and more diverse community engagement
• Encouraging greater participation in open-source initiatives

We would love to connect and discuss how we can collaborate and add value to each other’s communities.
