CLI looping infinitely on subtask

Describe the bug

When requesting something from Copilot CLI, it get stuck sometimes at some tasks and never ends.
I waited 20+ mins, but it was really stuck in a loop.
Cancelling the request my doing ctrl+c is also just not working.

This is happening completely randomly. Around 15% of my requests are getting stuck this way, so it's quite often.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

• Open Copilot CLI
• Ask Copilot to implement something.
• Authorize edit/creation of files when prompted

Expected behavior

To complete the task properly.

Additional context

• Operating System: Windows
• CPU Architecture: x64
• Powershell, WIndows Terminal

I think this bug has been addressed/fixed since my report.
I keep using Copilot on various size of files, and various type of request.

And copilot didn't go in an infinite looping state for quite a long time now (few months)
