Clone not working

Hello, I tried cloning this repo. Got the following error:
error: invalid path 'benchmarks/02-Feb-20-16:33_github_g2od7jac.json'
fatal: unable to checkout working tree
warning: Clone succeeded, but checkout failed.
You can inspect what was checked out with 'git status'
and retry with 'git restore --source=HEAD :/'

I tried git restore, but that resulted in a staged delete of all the code.

This might be a windows specific issue. Worked fine on linux
