CPU load NR flow #125

Hi,

First of all, great work! It shows your love and dedication for this stuff 😄 Much appreciated.

I am a Proxmox user. It is running great for a long time now. It is not on a mega powerfull machine, but sufficiently powered to be able to host 2x VM, 11 CT's with an average CPU load of 10%.

I have multiple other containers, amoung which multiple Node Red containers.
I have built some stuff in Node Red myself (irrelevant what exactly for this discussion, but you can find it on github if your interested). In my flow there is a dashboard with tables, graphs etc.. But also an integration with a P1 meter.

But I notice your flow seems to be running significantly higher CPU load when the function for self-consumption is active. See image below for cpu usage:
Image
1 = marstek control
2 = Full control - self consumption (safe)

My flow, of 2.85 MB, is running with avg CPU 1-2%. See image below (3).

I have verified that all my NR containers have the same amount CPU/Memory available, to rule things out.
I can not rule out that there is something causing this in my setup.
A key difference is that I am NOT running the Node Red instance inside the Home Assistant App/Add-on.

So maybe you can confirm if there is any reaction on your cpu load when switching control mode.

If you see this too, maybe we could chat on discord to try and see if we can improve this phenomenon together 😄

Kind Regards
