Hello. I noticed today that you have added type declarations to your project, while not long ago I have actually started the same on DefinitelyTyped
I could proceed with removing the one from DT but your types do not work unless imported explicitly in a test file (I have a mocha-setup.js kind of file).
Also, would propose to add that generic argument as I did in DT
