Audio Enhancements Toggle

Need the ability to toggle Audio Enhancements for bluetooth earbuds that I started using.
Can you point me to anything:
I created a script, but when I issue the following:

Set-ItemProperty -Path -Name -Value $disableValue -Type DWORD -Force

I get access denied for inadequate permissions.
Any thoughts?
