Meeting Minutes

• New Participants Introductions

  • Tomasz Swierszcz (Citi) reintroduced himself, noting he leads the Citi team using Git Proxy internally and will be speaking about Git Proxy at the upcoming FINOS event in London.
  • Adrian Neow introduced himself as collaborating on Git Proxy, primarily contributing as @goldensyntax on GitHub.

• Approval of Previous Minutes

  • Past meeting minutes (4th May 2026 - GitProxy Meeting Minutes #1508) were referenced; no objections or amendments were noted. Focus was placed on reviewing and updating action items.

• OSFF London / FINOS Event

  • Discussion on preparations for the OSFF London event where Tomasz will present Git Proxy.
  • Options for project representation were discussed: requesting a booth, preparing a screen or handout, and providing FINOS with the names of attendees who can staff the booth.
  • Action: Tomasz will coordinate internally at Citi to find additional booth support; @kriswest to liaise with FINOS regarding booth allocation and project contacts.
  • Tomasz gave a brief overview of his planned talk, focusing on onboarding, security, and integrating Git Proxy with organisational workflows.
  • Feedback and review of presentation materials to be scheduled for the next meeting; Tomasz can also circulate a summary for asynchronous feedback.

• Progress Against 2.1.0 Milestone

  • SSH Agent Forwarding (feat(ssh): Add SSH agent forwarding #1332):
    • @fabiovincenzi merged latest main changes; Windows CI failures under investigation.
    • Ready for review once fixed; others encouraged to test and review, especially from an architectural perspective.
  • Annotated Tag Push Support (feat: Add Annotated Tag Push Support #1139):
    • @fabiovincenzi awaiting further testing/review.
  • Docs PRs and Publishing Issues:
    • Multiple documentation PRs merged: repo/website docs unification, release branching documentation, user manual.
    • Website showing stale version after v2.0 release (Website showing stale version after v2.0 release #1534): @kriswest to investigate and update Netlify/package.json triggers.
    • API documentation PRs being developed by @Andreybest and @fabiovincenzi, with cross-dependencies between their branches.

  • Discussion on actual use cases for 'modified' vs 'created' sorting; consensus that 'date created' is useful and should proceed, while 'modified' may be less relevant.
  • To be included in the same release as the UI refresh; @jescalada to liaise with @fabiovincenzi to confirm final implementation.
