In the Transformers extension we us a modified version of the exasol_udf_mock_python.mock_exa_environment with metadata=None for our "without_db" unit tests.
if we change the exasol_udf_mock_python.mock_exa_environment to allow for metadata=None, we could remove our version and use the udf_mock_python version instead.
