There's no objection for adding Zig toolchain. But I have some questions to ask,

• Would you like to maintain the Zig toolchain for eweOS? eweOS is (always) lack of manpower, and current maintainers aren't familiar with Zig. It'll be great if you could help maintain the toolchain in the future.
• eweOS currently has ports for four architectures, x86_64, aarch64, riscv64 and loongarch64. I'm basically sure Zig works well on x86_64 and aarch64, but what about the latter two? I've heard of some codegen failures of loongarch64 in the past, are your familiar with Zig support status for riscv64 and loongarch64?
• I was a little concerned about bootstrapping difficulty, but reading Zig's README, it seems there's a C backend and could be boostrapped with only C compiler and LLVM? Bootstrap should be easy if that's true, and I prefer always performing a full bootstrap in PKGBUILD in this case.

To be clear, none of these questions prevents Zig to be packaged, but I appreciate the answer, thanks!

Okay, next time please describe the problem clearly, it's a little hard to get the point with only a link.

Personally saying, eweOS would probably never support many of these targets, so I think an acceptable option would be patching Zig to require only architectures that system LLVM enables, if it's possible.
