"Please install a navigation app"

When tapping on a charge point and on the green button in the bottom right corner, I get a message which says "Please install a navigation app".

However, I have multiple navigation apps installed (CoMaps, OsmAnd, Petal Maps, Waze).
This happens with both the F-Driod and the Google Play (downloaded from Aurora Store) version.

I dont believe my phone is the problem, because if I tap "Open location in different app" in CoMaps, I get the normal menu which lets me open this location in other map app or navigation app.

I already tried reinstalling the app.

Source: F-Droid (but as stated above, it also happens with the google play version)
Phone: Huawei P60 Pro (global version; MNA-LX9)
Android version: 12

Hi, there is one setting in EVMap that you could try to disable to see if that helps: "User interface" -> "Immediate navigation"
This setting only works with Google Maps (as other apps don't offer a standardized intent to directly start navigation). But I don't think this should be the issue, there is already a fallback to the standard location intent implemented, which should take over in this case.

There has also been a similar report in #398 regarding web browsers, and similarly to that one I can't reproduce it on my devices. I added another fallback in 6894894 (which will be part of the next release) which could potentially help, but I'm in the dark here.

Hey, thanks for the reply.
For some reason the setting you mentioned isnt there for me.
Also, I tested this entire thing on a Pixel 6 running Android 16 (GrapheneOS), and there it works. The menu to open the location in another app comes up as intended.
So I guess it is a problem with my phone in some way after all.
In this case Ill patiently wait for the next release and see if it fixes the probelm
