In v1.11, on mobile, plugin developers can now request the user location.
For desktop, create a separate thread in Developers: Plugin & API. Thanks.

Plugin developers can now request user location, e.g. for Maps.

I currently use the Geo Helper in Android and it works great but I assume this new capability will streamline some things for Map View.

Any changes planned for this new capability?

I've been waiting for this since day 1 of Map View, can't believe I haven't noticed it was added! Thank you for pointing it out, will add support in Map View ASAP!
