Create a sample module that guides developers through the implementation of Federated Catalog (FC) extensions.

Which Areas Would Be Affected?

A new federated_catalog module will be added int the Samples project.

Why Is the Feature Desired?

Demonstrate how we can utilize and extend the FC component.

Solution Proposal

Add a separate sample-scope: federated-catalog.

Create samples demonstrating the implementation of Federated Catalog (FC) extensions. This should include,

• deploy different types of FC,
• extend custom node directory resolver.
