More PDF/A compatibility?

The current PDF/A support only outputs to 3B.

Is it possible to add support for one of the following other formats?:
1A, 1B, 2B, 2U, 2A

Possible, yes, though I couldn't say when I would be able to add additional levels of support. What is the use case you are trying to accommodate?

I have to upload pdfs to a third party that only accepts the mentioned formats..the pdf is very simple, just text with one or two embedded logo images.
