Is there an existing issue for this?
Describe the bug
I'm working in Windows for this problem; it does not exist in linux. I use gimp to open a RAW (nef) file. Gimp sends it to darktable for editing, and when darktable closes, it sends an exr file to gimp. Gimp cannot find the file, but I can find the file in my \Users\home directory. As an example, I found this darktable file: UsersjkherAppDataLocalTempdarktable_C2AAK3image.exr in my home directory. A close look reveals that there are no directories in the file name. \Users\jkher\AppData\Local\Temp\darktable_C2AAK3\image.exr would put the file where windows gimp would find for it. Can the directory markers "" be added?
Steps to reproduce
-
Start windows gimp and open a RAW (nef in my case) image file. Gimp will send it to darktable for editing. When darktable is closed, the file will be exported as an *.exr file for gimp to open.
-
Gimp cannot file the file, but it is in my \Users\home directory as reported above
Expected behavior
Darktable should export the file where gimp will find it.
