In vscode IDE, is there MCP server access for python scripts?

Is it possible to use the MCP server with loaded sysmlv2 model in a python script running in vscode to retrieve requirements, constraints and test?
Then a python script could do simulations and real tests.
If it cannot, I think this would be a great extension to the extension.
