Three Claude Features Are Being Retired

Three features will be gradually retired from Claude by June 15th as we consolidate onto a more capable, reliable architecture. Here's what's changing and what you'll need to do.
🔧 Artifacts Migration
Existing artifacts are migrating automatically to VM-based Artifacts. No action needed for the migration itself. Enable code execution and file creation to continue creating and using artifacts.
🎨 Styles
Custom styles are being migrated to skills. No action needed for the migration itself. Enable code execution and file creation to use your custom styles via skills. Alternately, convert your styles to instructions, and for org-wide impact, set instructions at the org level. The learning mode style will be migrated to a skill as well.
📁 Project File Upload Search
We're improving the way that Claude searches and uses files in Projects. Project file search now requires code execution and file creation to be enabled.

The replacements above all run on VM-based execution. We've continued investing in admin controls so you can turn on code execution and file creation knowing you have governance in place:
- Network access settings. Configure egress at the org level — on, limited, or off — to match your security posture.
- Pre-approved network domains. When egress is set to limited, traffic is restricted to a vetted allowlist. See the current list.
