Current Behavior

The title is fairly self-explanatory. I've repeatedly set .html files to execute in Firefox by default. However, inexplicably, Firebot keeps repeatedly setting itself as the default .html executable, meaning that instead of opening .html as a webpage, trying to open a .html file inexplicably opens Firebot. The default execution program has to be manually reset to Firefox every time. This resets to opening Firebot every time Firebot is opened.

My OS is Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon 64 bit.

Expected Behavior

System settings should remain what the user set them to, and not override to open Firebot instead.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Program a .html file; I presume complexity isn't a factor.
  2. Set your default .html execution program to a web browser; I use Firefox, so this may be an alphabetical Fireb... vs. Firef... issue.
  3. Execute the .html file. It should open in your browser as a webpage.
  4. Open Firebot.
  5. Attempt to execute the .html file again. It will now inexplicably open Firebot instead.

Version

v5

What operating system are you using Firebot on?
