An explanation of how you have used your “Brag Diary” to record your progress.
I have used my Brag Diary as a way to consistently reflect on my learning and track my progress throughout the course. By recording both the challenges I faced and the achievements I accomplished each week, I was able to clearly see how my skills have developed over time.
The diary helped me break down my journey into smaller stages, which made it easier to recognise progress even when I found certain topics—like JavaScript—difficult. Instead of focusing only on what I didn’t understand, I was able to highlight what I had achieved, such as completing all mandatory tasks, learning Git commands, and becoming more confident using tools like VS Code and GitHub.
I also used the diary to reinforce positive habits, such as persevering through challenges and asking for help when needed. Writing these down made me more aware of my growth mindset and encouraged me to stay consistent.
Overall, the Brag Diary has helped me build confidence in my abilities by providing clear evidence of my progress. It has also given me useful examples that I can use in future interviews and professional situations to demonstrate my skills, resilience, and development as a learner.
