Thanks for the hack. However, this hack isn't useful for us. We have a very large environment. If we were to use hacks everywhere there's a potential problem, we would likely lose control completely in the long run. We have to wait for a clean solution.

@mzwettler2 you could use kustomize on argocd to do the same patch as @KamikX.
