Benefits
- Allows developers to more easily use Cloudinary with the Astro Image component
- Allows developers to use Cloudinary in markdown (very popular)
We should still encourage people to use the CldImage component in the docs, simply because of the additional features they get out of the box, but its important to make sure that we can support developers where they're already working, especially if they have limitations / restrictions on how they can work.
