There is no stable channel for the openshift gitops operator

Hello,

We applied the YAML file under setup for git ops operator. It is configured as if there is a stable channel for the openshift-gitops-operator. Installation stuck with constraint unsatisifed error.
Available channel name is latest.
We changed the applied YAML content to make the channel latest and installation worked.
