[BUG]: Install/Uninstall of other Add-Ons kills Tab Menu functionality

Firefox 30 / Windows 8

To replicate this bug:

1. Install this addon
2. pick any settings
3. install or uninstall another addon (restart)
4. This is usually where things stop working for me
5. Or Restart and then the Tab Groups button will then revert back to its original function (the panorama view) even though the settings are still checked for it to function differently.

It's pretty consistent. I have to disable at least one setting (usually the "replace Panorama" setting), restart firefox, re-apply the setting and then it works. Sometimes it takes multiple restarts/setting resets, but eventually I can get the settings to work as intended.

EDIT:
This also seems to be the case when addons are automatically updated, or when firefox itself is updated.

If you can't replicate this please let me know. Then it would be an issue with one of my other Add-Ons most likely. This may be related to Issue #36
