How to make work on mobile

Thanks for this great resource, however if you go to the yubico demo site from a mobile phone, it is smart enough to know that you have a NFC fido key.  It appears to be the identical interface that github uses (if you go to github from a mobile device), so I'm hoping its' a built-in U2F library thing.  Any ideas how to implement this?
