This is going to be challenging.

There's currently no support for SVG images on either the Jetpack Glance or SwiftUI side. To make this work, we'd need to convert SVGs into a supported format, store them somewhere, and then display them using the built-in Image views.

I think we could extend the preloadImage API to detect SVGs, convert them automatically, and potentially support inline SVGs as well.

I'll try to prepare a proof of concept. If it works, I can move forward with integrating it.

Our app is based off icons which can change color depending on the item viewed and they are dynamically loaded from the db and therefore not included at build time
