Description
When creating a new launchable via the Brev web UI at brev.nvidia.com/launchables/create, selecting "Only my organization" under View Access on Step 5 (Review) results in a generic error:
Error creating launchable, contact support or try again
Switching to "Anyone with the link" with the exact same configuration succeeds immediately.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to
https://brev.nvidia.com/launchables/create
- Complete Steps 1-4 (any valid configuration works — we used: git repo, VM Mode, CPU 4x16 NEBIUS)
- On Step 5 (Review Your Launchable):
- Enter a name and description
- Under View Access, leave "Publish to community" toggled off
- Select "Only my organization"
- Click "Create Launchable"
- Error appears:
Error creating launchable, contact support or try again
- Switch to "Anyone with the link" and click Create again → succeeds
Environment
- Organization: Nemoclaw CI/CD (
org-3BMXNQMeQUOorcczhv3RX6znPCa)
- Balance: $2,703.23 (positive, green indicator)
- Browser: Chrome (macOS)
- Date: April 2, 2026
Expected Behavior
Launchable should be created with "Only my organization" visibility, restricting access to org members only.
Actual Behavior
Generic error with no details. The same configuration works with "Anyone with the link" visibility.
Workaround
Use "Anyone with the link" instead of "Only my organization". The launchable is still not publicly discoverable (Publish to community is off), but anyone with the direct URL can deploy it.
