build `npm build` called with no arguments. Did you mean to `npm run-script build`?

Hi

When I try to use build I get this warning: build npm build called with no arguments. Did you mean to npm run-script build?

Is there some better short hand or something that I can do so I can just do "npm build"?

You have to use npm run build instead.

npm run build solved my problem, I had been trying react-scripts build , npm run-script build , and others.
I'm using an app originally created with create-react-app.
I tried to put npm run build in the scripts section of package.json, but that doesn't work. Is there a way of writing the file to get npm build to work , so I don't have to remember ?
The funny thing is when I type npm build I get this:
npm WARN build npm build called with no arguments. Did you mean to npm run-script build?
and npm run-script build doesn't work either.
