Description
This checklist comes from a note JoJo sent me re: rows on the project plan
Rows 148+ include tasks that we have discussed including post-launch, divided into "nearer term" and "longer term" lists.
Nearer Term
- FInalize AI and E+E one-pagers
- Double check TOS and Privacy Policy, and update pyret.bootstrapworld.org, IT boilerplate email links if necessary
- Test on cell phones
- Ensure logged-in teacher ID is added to all assessment links
- Test logging of MDQuiz submissions
- Allow lesson plans to take up more screen real estate on wide monitors
- Flagging that the algebra video ends with the OG logo
- other pages on our new website have many sections, broken up by varying the background color. The course landing pages go on and on forever with blue writing on white background. Suggest breaking it up either with images of the lulu workbooks in the workbook section or new colors for projects, workbooks, other resources
- Not Urgent: find a different image of our team for consulting - currently using pic of shriram, joe & ben in their bootstrap shirts.
- we are hiding the map view of the workshops because the view is currently limited to showing the city itself, not a map of the US with markers for all workshops. is there a way to neatly add evaluating whether to unhide the map view at a later date (because we now have the ability to zoom out to a country-wide view)
- We will need to figure out a logo to use for AI's Explore the Course Materials section. (The E&E logo is not very visually connected to the others.)
- figure out how to add relevant pills for what the search function returns (e.g. lesson, project, notes, workbook page, starter file, optional page, etc.)
New "Curriculum" Landing Pages (150-154)
- Social Studies Kathi
- Secure curriculum in shareable location
- Create course summary (1-pager)
- Tools (Pyret, Desmos, CODAP, WeScheme, etc) Shriram
- 155 - Vignettes showing how we find underlying computer and data science in mainstream subjects and build curriculum around them
- 156- Create space on curriculum landing pages for community-contributed resources (a la openupresources).
- 157- Update Ask a Question: Consider posting FAQ on that page and dividing traffic between: Teachers looking for help with what they're teaching, Teachers curious about Bootstrap wondering how it might fit, Teachers looking to attend a training, People curious about why we use the tools we do, Admin curious about our offerings, etc.
- 159 - Update Discourse to match website
- 160 - Embed Discourse / different community |
- 161 - On each facilitator's profile page (access via log-in), have link to facilitation resources (e.g., attendance tool, invoice template, travel policy, checklist, etc)
- Record new videos for Algebra and DS.
Longer Term
- 164 - Client testimonials (combine w general market research. SF, NYC, CDE, Sacramento, MI, Alabama, Oregon, OK, MA, Iowa, CT, AZ, NM, Indiana)
- 165 - Rating scale
- 166 - Products and pricing page
- 167 - Idea: The abridged nuuly 101 - https://www.nuuly.com/rent
- 168 -Links to other public showcases of student work.
- 169 - Move all videos to Vimeo
- 170 - MiSTEM Case Study for In the Field Page
And for thoroughness, rows 44-147 consist of old project plans.
